A Japanese company has suggested launching a ferry service from Karachi’s Do Dorya to Port Qasim, as well as building additional water sports facilities in Sindh.
The suggestion was discussed during a meeting between Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah and Yoshiyuki ITO, Yamaha Japan’s Senior General Manager for Central Asia and the Middle East.
According to a statement issued by the CM House, they discussed building water recreation facilities at several barrages and lakes throughout the province, including the inauguration of a ferry service from Do Darya to Port Qasim.
The chief minister stated that there is a huge opportunity to create water sports facilities in partnership with Yamaha Pakistan in Keenjhar, Guddu, Sukkur, and Kotri Barrages, and that these facilities may be established through the private sector.
The visiting Yamaha official informed the CM that a ferry service for transportation and entertainment may be established.
He went on to say that their WaveRunners were the best sports.
