Tech Valley Pakistan, a partner nation of Google, has offered 1,000 scholarships worth $500,000 for young people in Balochistan.
The announcement follows the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) for the distribution of Google Career Certificates by representatives of Google, the Department of Education, and the Department of Labor and Manpower.
To be eligible for the Google scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- They must be residents of Balochistan.
- They must be between the ages of 18 and 35.
- They must have a minimum education level of intermediate.
- They must be passionate about developing digital skills and knowledge.

It is important to note that this is Tech Valley Pakistan’s first relationship with the Balochistan Government, which includes engagement with a number of divisions in the territory.
Google will train young people professionally in the areas of project management, digital marketing, IT support, advanced business intelligence, cyber security, and design in addition to awarding 1,000 scholarships.
To ensure that all provincial government departments have access to top-notch programs for digital education and skill development, Tech Valley Pakistan will collaborate closely with them.
It is important to note that Google Career Certificates are an adaptable, self-directed online training program that can help learners become ready for employment in a variety of industries with strong development potential. Specialized training, evaluations, mentorship sessions, and practical experience are all included in the curriculum.
