Google-TEVTA Punjab are joining hands to launch different capacity-building initiatives to digitalize Pakistan Training Facilities on the basis of Google technologies.
Tech Valley is a local country partner of Google in Pakistan and the TEVTA Punjab is the biggest Pakistan’s Skills Training Provider. Google through Tech Valley & TEVTA Punjab has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) Islamabad. The CEO of Tech Valley, Umar Farooq, and the TEVTA Chairman, Ali Salman was present during the signing ceremony.
According to the MoU signed between Google-TEVTA Punjab:
TEVTA and Tech Valley will cooperate to provide Google Workspace tools to the members, teachers, students, and staff of the affiliated institutions. They will also initiate different training programs for the teachers and students. The agreement has set a pattern on how technology can be utilized and effectively used to collaborate within the country. And to provide training in order to control and utilize the power of digital technologies to help Pakistan achieve bigger goals on a global level.
The Chairperson of TEVTA, Ali Salman Siddique said:
“TEVTA Punjab reached out to private sector for digital transformation. That is the vision of the Prime Minister of Pakistan and it is being implemented in TEVTA Punjab, the largest skill provider for Pakistan with E-learning and other courses. We are trying to empower our students so that they can easily reap the benefits of this digital transformation across the world.”
