Google recently announced a rebranding of its Bard chatbot, renaming it Gemini and introducing new features such as mobile app options and a paid version of the service, as reported by Axios.
The tech giant’s decision to rename Bard as Gemini comes as part of its efforts to demonstrate its ability to keep up with the latest advancements in artificial intelligence (AI), particularly in light of competing products from Microsoft and OpenAI.
Inspired by recent AI models, Google Cloud is also renaming its Duet AI to Gemini.
Gemini will now have its own dedicated app on Android, allowing users to utilize it as their primary voice assistant, while on iOS, it will be integrated as a tab within the Google app, as per Axios.
