The Government will be introducing Ehsaas Petrol Cards for motorcyclists, which will allow them to purchase fuel at low prices.
On Thursday, Federal Minister for Finance and Revenue, Shaukat Tarin. Decided the ehsaas petrol cards scheme over a meeting of the Macro-Economic Advisory Group (MEAG) at the Finance Division.
Furthermore, the agenda of the meeting was to discuss the factors such as subsidized fuel, tax reliefs, increased income/minimum wages, internships (for educated unemployed), economic reforms, particularly in the energy sector.
From The growth point of view, GDP grew with 5.6 per cent, 15 per cent increase in exports, over 10 per cent increase in remittances, and record tax collection by boosting business confidence removing bureaucratic barriers, and ensuring consistent monetary policy were also discussed.
Moreover, in the upcoming Fiscal year 2022-23 budget, the government aims to enhance the salary of public sector employees.

The attendees of the meeting included the Chairman of the NPHDA, the President of the Bank of Punjab, the Chairman of the SECP, the Founder of the Akhuwat Foundation, Dr Amjad Saqib, and other top executives.
