Govt announces public holidays for 2023

The announcement for the public holidays and elective holidays for 2023 was released by the Cabinet Division on Monday.

In Pakistan, the Muslim and minority festivals would fall on the following public and optional holidays in 2023:

The days after that are bank holidays. Today, however, the Banks, DFLs, and MFBs will remain closed to the general public but not to their staff:

The dates of holidays for Muslim festivities are determined by anticipated dates. The Cabinet Division will send out a separate notification if the moon makes an appearance; otherwise, they are subject to it.
