The government of Pakistan convened the “Ehsaas Team Meet and Greet” with visitors at Expo 2020 Dubai Pakistan Pavilion.
Dr. Sania Nishtar, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister of Pakistan on Social Protection and Poverty Alleviation chaired a high-level panel of policymakers on cash transfers featuring Ehsaas and global experiences at Expo 2020 Dubai Pakistan Pavilion during the Global Goals Week.
The Group of Pakistani Friends was promoting the “Global Social Protection Knowledge Platform”. And they hosted an event at expo 2020 Dubai during Global Goals Week. Moreover, Dr. Sania Nishtar was a keynote Person at this event.
The hosts included the Permanent Mission of Pakistan to the United Nations, New York, Turkish Mission to the United Nations, NIGER MISSION TO THE United Nations, and CostaRica Mission to the United Nations. Moreover, Dr. Sania Nishtar also thanked Peru, China, and Argentina for their support.
Ehsaas Team Meet and Greet
Dr Sania Nishtar highlighted Pakistan’s approach to human capital development and said: “More should be invested in technology and data to improve the delivery of human capital services.”
Moreover, Dr. Sania Nishtar said: “The government has allocated Rs260 billion for the Ehsaas program in 2021-22.”
