The Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa government has decided to extend the scope of the Sehat Card Plus scheme to the merged tribal districts of the province in the upcoming budget of the financial year 2021-22.
Among other decisions taken ahead of the provincial budget which was due on June 18, the provincial government has set a minimum wage of Rs21,000 for workers in the next fiscal year and will provide flour to people at subsidized rates.
The provincial government will present the budget of over Rs1,000 billion on Friday at 03:00 pm at a provincial assembly session. Out of the total outlay, over Rs205 billion would be allocated for Annual Development Program (ADP).
The K-P government has planned to increase revenue from provincial resources to Rs75 billion in the next financial year, which will be 50 percent more than the outgoing fiscal year.
