These seminars are the first step towards the Ministry of Commerce’s outreach program, which will be run through social media and radio channels. The aim is to spread the information to the grass-root level targeting our rice growers, millers, pesticide companies, and provincial Agricultural extension departments.
Through a consultative approach, the Ministry of Commerce intends to devise a comprehensive plan of action to increase competitiveness and enhance market access in global export destinations of rice.
Ministry of Commerce would like to acknowledge and appreciate the support provided by the ITC Geneva, UK’s FCDO Provincial Agriculture Departments, REAP, NRSP, and TDAP for their collaborative efforts and support in these events of national importance.
