The petrol price has increased by Rs1.45 per litre, while the price of High Speed Diesel (HSD) has remained the same.
The price of light diesel has decreased by Rs4.26 per litre, while the price of kerosene oil has decreased by Rs8.30 per litre, according to a notification from the finance ministry. At midnight, the revised prices went into effect (night between Sept 20 and Sept 21).
Following the price hike, the price of petrol will now be Rs 237.43 per litre, while the cost of high-speed diesel will remain constant at Rs 247.43 per litre.
Light diesel’s price has been decreased by Rs4.26 per litre, and the new price has been set at Rs197.28 per litre. Kerosene’s price was decreased by Rs 8.30 per litre, making the new price of Rs 202.02 per litre.
Miftah Ismail, the finance minister, had earlier stated that there would be a nominal change in the price of petroleum products of Re0.08 per litre.
The federal minister had stated that the price of petrol or diesel will either climb or fall on Saturday while speaking to a local TV station.
