The Interior Ministry has launched an elaborate mechanism to provide easement in foreign relief work of international non-government organizations (INGOs) working in Afghanistan.
National Security Adviser Dr Moeed Yusuf was informed of this while chairing a meeting of the Afghan Inter-Ministerial Coordination Cell in Islamabad, Pakistan.
The meeting of the Afghan Inter-Ministerial Coordination Cell was also informed that:
“New international non-government organizations (NGOs) and as well as those already registered will benefit from this mechanism launched by the Interior Ministry of Pakistan.”
The National Security Adviser Dr Moeed Yusuf appreciated this initiative by the Interior Ministry of Pakistan and said:
“This mechanism to facilitate Internation non-government organizations (INGOs) and all foreign relief work in Afghanistan would immensely help in humanitarian assistance efforts for the people of Afghanistan.”
