The government has decided to offer Pakistani nationality to foreign investors, to bring heavy investments from wealthy foreigners.
Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry in a tweet on Friday confirmed this plan.
Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry said:
“The government has decided to allow a Permanent residency scheme for foreign nationals. This new policy allows foreigners to get permanent resident status in place of their investment in Pakistan.”
Moreover, Fawad Chaudhry said:
“This decision is in line with the new National Security policy through which Pakistan declared GeoEconomics as the core of its National security ideology.”
