Along the Murree Road and other highways, the Punjab government is installing colorful electric bulbs to make Rawalpindi a model city.
Malik Abid Hussain, Vice-Chairman Parks and Horticulture Authority, said that the installation of decorative bulbs for the beautician of highways is underway while speaking to public and local Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) officials during a visit to various Union Councils, Vice-Chairman Parks, and Horticulture Authority, Rawalpindi.
“We will make Rawalpindi an ideal model city, in terms of natural green and eco-friendly,” he stated.
As per the Vice-Chairman, the basic work of turning all of the city’s parks into natural green spaces has been completed. On both sides of Murree Road and the middle divider line, more than a hundred different types of flowers have been planted in pots, he said.
