Lahore, April 29, 2025 – Lahore Qalandars’ speedster Haris Rauf has admitted that he is not satisfied with his own performance in the ongoing Pakistan Super League (PSL) season. Speaking during a segment on Samaa TV, the pacer reflected on his form and expressed appreciation for rising talent in the league.
“I am not happy with my own bowling performance this season,” said Rauf candidly, who has been a key part of Lahore Qalandars’ bowling attack in recent editions.
Turning the spotlight on Peshawar Zalmi’s emerging pacer Ali Raza, Rauf lauded the youngster’s performance, calling it one of the most exciting developments in PSL 2025. “Ali Raza has made an impact among the emerging players, and I believe he is the future of Pakistan cricket,” Rauf said.
He further emphasized that Ali Raza’s debut for the national team should happen soon, citing his pace, consistency, and match temperament as assets that Pakistan needs.
The praise comes at a crucial time as teams battle for playoff spots in the PSL. The next fixture sees Multan Sultans take on Quetta Gladiators in what is expected to be a high-stakes 18th match of the tournament.
With the spotlight on young players and seasoned campaigners alike, the PSL continues to serve as a breeding ground for future stars of Pakistan cricket.
