The Holy Quran must be taught in all universities across the nation with translation, according to the Higher Education Commission.
All universities have received a notification from the Higher Education Commission stating that without reading the Holy Quran with translation, a student will not be granted a degree.
The notice also specifies that there won’t be any grades or credit hours awarded for teaching the Qur’an. According to the Higher Education Commission’s notice, this course will be required for undergraduate students starting in the 2023 fall semester.
The Quran, Tajweed, and Tafsir shall be taught to students in all universities with translation provided, and vice chancellors of universities across the nation should see to it that this resolution is carried out.
