The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) assigned distinct electoral symbols to candidates affiliated with the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), such as a bowl, shoe, harmonium, chimta (tongs), hen, bottle, pomegranate, and kettle.
This allocation of symbols occurred late on Sunday night following the Supreme Court of Pakistan’s decision to revoke the PTI’s use of the bat symbol. Consequently, PTI candidates will now participate in elections as independent candidates.
