Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has launched HIC (Halal Implementation Council) in order to ensure that impermissible Islamic practices inside the food sector are stopped and permissible Islamic food regulations are promoted.
Training programs of HIC will be organized for the sake of building the capacity of businesses operating in the food sector enhanced with the adopted halal practices. This will certify that the businesses are Halal and Safe.
The organization will enlist the business of the sector on the website and the mobile application for ensuring that the people are aware of the safe and halal food in the area. The organization was launched in the capital of KP during a ceremony organized by HARC (Halal Awareness and Research Council) with the collaboration of HSFA (Halal and Safe Food Authority) and PF (Prime Foundation).
The representatives of all 3 of the organizations along with the local scholars were selected as board members of HIC. Mufti Jawad, Mufti Khalid, Mufti Yahya, Mufti Aqib Javed, and Mufti Masood Shah are included in the members.
Professor Dr. Najibul Haq the Adviser on Health and Medical Education of the Prime Foundation, was selected as the chairperson of HIC. The efforts of the HARC president, Afaq Shamsi and others were praised during the inaugural.
