HONG KONG – Pakistan’s rising squash stars, Mahnoor Ali and Muhammad Harmas Raja, made history by clinching gold medals at the US Junior Open Squash Championship 2024, marking a significant achievement for the country.
Mahnoor Ali, an 11-year-old sensation, became the first Pakistani female to win the Girls U-13 title. She delivered a stellar performance, defeating Hong Kong’s Xyan Yin with a 3-1 victory. The match scores of 11/6, 11/5, 10/12, and 11/8 highlighted her dominance and skill. This remarkable win builds on her earlier successes, including a gold medal at the 2024 Australian Junior Open and a bronze at the 7th Borneo Junior Open 2023.
With 17 gold medals already to her name, Mahnoor has firmly established herself as a rising global star in squash.
