The utilization of cutting-edge technology such as artificial intelligence tools such as ChatGPT provides you with far more options to better your life than simply finishing your schoolwork or editing your pictures and videos.
Take advantage of them, as a self-made billionaire and RSE Ventures CEO Matt Higgins suggests, and they may become your next source of income.
“AI will be the greatest wealth creator in history because artificial intelligence doesn’t care where you were born, whether you have money, or whether you have a Ph.D.,” Higgins says on CNBC Make It.
“It will dismantle the barriers that have kept people from moving up the economic ladder and pursuing their dream of economic freedom.”
The AI market is predicted to grow significantly over the next decade, reaching about $100 billion in value and contributing $15.7 trillion to the global economy by 2030.
“It’s not that if you don’t jump on it now, you’ll never be able to,” Higgins explains. “It’s that now is the best time for you to capitalise on it.”
Here are a few methods to use AI to become a millionaire, according to experts.
Freelancing
AI can help you earn money by utilizing your skills in writing, graphic design, and photo and video editing.
“Assume you’re a liberal arts college student thinking about furthering your education or simply learning something new. “Now is the time to learn more about artificial intelligence,” says Susan Gonzales, founder, and CEO of AIandYou, a nonprofit that teaches AI skills to people from underserved regions.
With today’s generative AI tools, you can already compose business strategies and generate digital artwork. Importantly, you must alter the language so that it sounds less like a robot and more like you by fact-checking and editing every word and pixel produced by an AI tool.
Kristen Walters, for example, already utilises an AI technology called Jasper to develop digital products such as workbooks, e-books, and audiobooks.
In a recent Medium article, Walters, a lawyer turned entrepreneur and publisher, outlined her process: “Let’s assume I have a concept for a digital ‘workbook’ to help self-employed people manage their money better. I would create an outline for my workbook using Jasper’s ‘talk’ feature. “I followed the prompt to create an outline for a workbook titled ‘Money Management for Freelancers.'”
Jasper developed the outline in 30 seconds, according to Walters. She later revised and polished the outline, changing it into a completed workbook that she formatted in Canva and sold online.
Some freelance jobs can earn more than $100 per hour.
Entrepreneurship
Gonzales advises small-business owners to investigate AI products in order to increase income, enhance inventory management, monitor consumer behaviour, and obtain competitive intelligence.
AI solutions can target marketing and advertising activities effectively, uncovering new revenue prospects and improving marketing and advertising efforts.
ChatGPT is used to fill out forms when onboarding new clients, according to Jacqueline DeStefano-Tangorra, CEO and founder of boutique consulting business Omni Business Intelligence Solutions.
She begins by importing her current templates into ChatGPT, then directs the tool to delete the previous client’s data and replace it with the new client’s name and the mutually agreed-upon terms.
“Now, I’ll have an agreement in their hands in 10 minutes,” she explained.
DeStefano-Tangorra also utilises ChatGPT to develop meeting agendas, which she subsequently shares with her clients.
Experts advise against uploading any sensitive information to an AI tool since it will store, evaluate, and learn from anything you input. Beyond that, Gonzales encourages experimentation.
“The wonderful thing is, today, all we have to do is search ‘how to improve my small business with AI tools,'” she explains. “There is information out there.”
Tutoring
AI coaching — or educating people on how to get the most out of generative AI technologies — isn’t a well-paid position just now. Gonzales predicts that it will happen shortly.
“There are many online learning opportunities to understand how AI works, which could then help [someone] possibly become an AI tutor or do some AI training to pass it down to the next generation,” she says.
Universities such as Harvard and the University of California provide free AI courses that focus on algorithms, data analytics, and other skills, preparing students for the inevitable opportunities in the AI business.
