The ICC Champions Trophy has officially returned to Pakistan, marking an exciting moment for cricket fans across the country. After completing its international tour, the coveted silverware has arrived in Lahore, where it will embark on a nationwide journey.

Trophy’s Initial Stay in Pakistan

Before being sent abroad for its global tour, the ICC Champions Trophy had already been in Pakistan from November 16 to 25. During this period, cricket lovers had the opportunity to witness the trophy up close, building anticipation for the upcoming tournament. Now that it has returned, a well-planned itinerary has been set to ensure that fans from different cities get a chance to celebrate this prestigious moment.

Grand Display at Major Cricket Stadiums

Officials have confirmed that the trophy will be put on display at two of Pakistan’s most iconic cricket venues. The first major exhibition will take place at Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium on February 7, coinciding with the grand opening ceremony. Following this, the trophy will travel to Karachi, where it will be showcased at the National Stadium on February 11. These displays will allow cricket fans to witness the Champions Trophy at the very grounds where many historic cricket matches have taken place.

Nationwide Tour: Bringing the Trophy to the People

To extend the celebrations beyond major stadiums, the ICC Champions Trophy will embark on a nationwide tour, covering several key cities. The first leg of the journey is scheduled from January 31 to February 2, during which the trophy will visit:

  • Sheikhupura
  • Faisalabad
  • Multan
  • Bahawalpur

Cricket lovers in these cities will have the rare opportunity to see the trophy up close and capture memorable moments with it.

Next Phase of the Trophy Tour

Following the initial stops, the trophy will continue its journey to more cities across Pakistan. Starting from February 5, the next destinations on the tour will include:

  • Sargodha
  • Peshawar
  • Islamabad

Fans in these regions will be able to join in the celebrations as the prestigious Champions Trophy makes its way through their cities.

Excitement Builds for ICC Champions Trophy 2025

The return of the ICC Champions Trophy has fueled excitement among cricket fans, as Pakistan is set to host the ICC Champions Trophy 2025. This will be the first time since 1996 that Pakistan hosts a major ICC event, making it a historic occasion for the country’s cricketing landscape.

The nationwide tour aims to create enthusiasm ahead of the tournament while allowing fans from all over Pakistan to connect with the sport and take pride in the country’s role as a host nation. With the trophy traveling across multiple cities, cricket lovers are eagerly looking forward to welcoming it with passion and enthusiasm.
