Pakistan Received the third tranche of around $500 million from the International Monetary Fund’s (IMF) loan program, a week after the approval of four pending reviews of Pakistan’s economy.
While taking it to twitter Pakistan’s central bank said “SBP has received an IMF tranche of US$ 498.7 million under the Extended Fund Facility.”
The loan tranche was received after resuming a $6 billion loan program a couple of weeks ago by Islamabad. The program was on hold since the Covid-19 outbreak in the country in February 2020.
