The former prime minister Tehreek-e-Insaf chairman Imran Khan on Monday reached the residence of senior journalist and anchorperson Arshad Sharif, who was shot dead by Kenyan police in a case of ‘mistaken identity.
Imran Khan visited Arshad Sharif’s residence in Islamabad and offered his condolences to the martyr’s mother and other family members.
The former prime minister also prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul.
Imran Khan expressed his sorrow for the incident on Twitter earlier in the day.
Arshad Sharif, a senior journalist and former host for ARY News, was dead shot by police in a “mistaken identification case,” according to the Kenyan police.
He was traveling from the country’s Magadi town to Nairobi when the incident happened.
