According to officials of India’s cricket association, the Indian cricket team may visit Pakistan to compete in the 2023 Asia Cup. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) reportedly has the Pakistan tour on its agenda.
Before the October 18 Annual General Meeting, the Indian Board on Thursday addressed a message to state associations (AGM). Among other international commitments for the Indian team the following year, the meeting agenda includes the Pakistan tour for the Asia Cup 2023.

- ICC Women’s U-19 T20 World Cup, South Africa
- Asia Cup, Pakistan
- ICC Cricket World Cup, India
“It will be subject to the clearance of the Government of India as always,” a BCCI official was quoted saying to the Indian website.
The 50-over Asia Cup will be held in Pakistan the following year before the ICC World Cup, which will be held in India.
If India visits Pakistan the next year, it will be its first visit to a neighboring country since 2008. India previously visited Pakistan to compete in the Asia Cup.
