According to the health ministry, hundreds of Palestinians were killed on Tuesday as Israel launched airstrikes on a hospital and a camp for refugees in Gaza, where residents had sought safety from Israel’s ceaseless shelling of residential areas.
The strikes occurred as international leaders stepped up their attempts to resolve the situation, which has already seen over 3,000 Palestinians killed by Israeli strikes throughout the Gaza Strip since October 7.
At least 500 people died as a result of Israeli airstrikes on the yard of the Ahli Arab hospital in central Gaza, according to a health ministry official in Gaza. It continued, “Hundreds of victims are still under the rubble.”
The administration of Gaza’s media office referred to it as a “war crime.”
