Wardah International Service – GSA of Iraqi Airways in Pakistan, has announced to start four flights for Karachi and two for Islamabad in a week from 1st of Muharram-ul- Haram.
Executive of Wardah International Service, Basil Affendi said, “We shall start our operations from Baghdad and Najaf to Karachi and Islamabad from the 1st of Moharram.”
The airline should accomodate passengers, especially pilgrims. According to a press statement that was released here on Tuesday, this would also contribute in promoting tourism between Iraq and Pakistan.
In July 2017, Iraqi Airways selected Wardah International Services (Pvt) Limited to serve as its GSA for Pakistan. The inaugural flight of Iraqi Airways landed at Karachi Airport on January 28, 2018.
The airlines intend to fly B-747 and B 777 aircraft on this route with the greatest number of passengers seated in Economy plus Business class using Boeing 737-800 aircraft in low seasons and in high seasons, respectively.
