Leaders of Arab and Muslim World have strongly condemned the assassination bid on the Iraqi PM Mustafa Al-Kadhim. In a statement, Saudi Foreign Ministry denounced the attack and called it a cowardly terrorist act.
Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council Nayef Al-Hajraf condemned the incident, saying the bloc considers the security of Iraq as one of the GCC states.
Egypt’s president Abdul Fattah Al-Sisi has also condemned the attack and called for calm and restraint among all the parties involved.
Meanwhile, Iran’s top security official, Ali Shamkhani, called it a new sedition.
