The government’s commitment to completing the International Monetary Fund program has been reaffirmed by Finance Minister Ishaq Dar.
On the sidelines of the International Conference on Climate Resilient Pakistan in Geneva, he was speaking with Nathan Porter, the head of the IMF’s mission in Pakistan.
They talked about the difficulties faced by local economies as a result of climate change at the conference.
Additionally, the finance minister had separate talks with Martin Raiser, vice president of the World Bank, Muhammad Al-Jasser, president of the Islamic Development Bank, and Isobel Coleman, deputy administrator of the US Agency for International Development.
