Israel and the Palestinian militant group Hamas have expressed concerns regarding the lists of Israeli hostages and Palestinian prisoners scheduled for release on Monday, according to an official briefed on the matter.
The official mentioned that Qatari mediators are actively working with both Israel and Hamas to address issues and prevent any potential delays.
“There is a minor issue with today’s lists. The Qataris are collaborating with both sides to resolve it and prevent delays,” the official stated.
As part of the truce over the past three days, Israel has submitted names of Palestinian women and teenagers to be released from jail, while Hamas has provided names of Israeli civilian hostages it intends to release, with both sides submitting these lists at least 12 hours before the scheduled release.
