Israel and Hamas resumed indirect negotiations for a ceasefire in Gaza on Tuesday in Doha, Qatar, as reported by Al Jazeera citing Axios.
Leading the Israeli delegation was Mossad chief David Barnea, who met with Qatari and Egyptian mediators, led by Qatari Prime Minister Mohammed Bin Abdulrahman al-Thani.
A senior Israeli official stated that these talks might extend for at least two weeks, with the Israeli delegation staying in Doha for in-depth discussions with the Qatari and Egyptian mediators.
“It is anticipated to be a prolonged, challenging, and intricate process, but our aim is to pursue a resolution,” the official remarked.
