Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has announced that the Israeli army is making preparations to enter Rafah, the southern city of Gaza, where more than one million displaced Palestinians have sought shelter.
“We have gained control over the northern area of the Gaza Strip and Khan Younis. With the strip secured, we are now gearing up for operations in Rafah,” Netanyahu stated.
Emphasizing the importance of utilizing all available resources effectively, Netanyahu affirmed, “It is crucial that all of Israel’s assets are employed judiciously in the negotiations that I personally engage in on a daily basis.”
