The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has not officially released the schedule for the upcoming Pakistan Super League (PSL) 9, but a leaked provisional schedule has surfaced, indicating that Karachi will be the primary host city, featuring 11 matches, including the final. The tournament is expected to take place from February 17 to March 17.
According to the leaked schedule, Lahore and Rawalpindi will host nine matches each, while Multan is set to host five matches. However, a PCB source has indicated that the schedule is not finalized and may undergo revisions.
The source explained the challenges of scheduling the event within a narrow window due to Pakistan’s international commitments. Once the details are finalized, the official schedule will be released.
A franchise source has expressed agreement with the proposed February 17 to March 17 timeframe, but emphasized that finalization is still pending. It appears that the PCB had initially delayed the event due to anticipated general elections on February 8, but the recent Senate resolution postponing the elections has introduced uncertainty.
