Pakistan and Kazakhstan have begun direct flights today (Saturday), with the goal of strengthening tourist and trade links.
Kazakhstan’s SCAT Air Company will fly two weekly flights between Lahore and Almaty on Wednesdays and Saturdays, utilizing a luxurious Boeing 737 aircraft.
Yerzhan Kistafin, Kazakhstan’s ambassador to Pakistan, stated that a direct flight between the two nations would take two hours, promoting mutual commercial and trade connections and expanding opportunities for tourism collaboration.
Lahore, Pakistan’s second-largest city, is known for its rich cultural legacy, notable architectural sites, vibrant cultural scene, and culinary traditions.
Almaty, Kazakhstan’s largest city with a population of approximately 2 million people, is renowned as the “city of a thousand colors.” It is located in the center of the Great Silk Road, amid the foothills of the beautiful Alatau mountains.
