An It company of the US plans for heavy investments in Khyber Pakhuntawa. The plan includes setting up Technology City in the Province.
Affinity CEO Zia Chisty announced the offer while in a meeting with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Mahmood Khan. Moreover, KP Finance Minister Taimur Saleem Jhagra and KP Local Government Minister Akbar Ayub Khan. Along with Special Assistant Kamran Bangash, Additional Chief Secretary Shakeel Qadir and other relevant officials Also attended the meeting.
Therefore, It was discussed, that the meeting initial capacity of the proposed Tech City would range from 10,000 to 15,000 people in the field of IT. While more than 50,000 job opportunities created for the youth.
During the meeting, it was decided to form a joint team from the provincial government and Afniti to determine a suitable site for the proposed Tech City.
While addressing in the meeting, CM Khan said that the provincial government has taken results-oriented measures under a well-formulated strategy to attract maximum investment and provide maximum employment opportunities to the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The Chief Minister called upon the company to provide all possible assistance to make the Tech City ideology a reality.
