The Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa cabinet has approved regularizing fifty-eight thousand teachers who were recruited on an Adhoc basis in 2017. The approval was given at a meeting of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa cabinet, which was held in Peshawar on Tuesday with Chief Minister Mahmood Khan in attendance.
Later, Special Assistant to Chief Minister on Information Barrister Muhammad Ali Saif briefed reporters about the cabinet decisions and said that the cabinet had approved one million rupees for the martyred child in the lower Dir school wall collapse incident, as well as 100,000 rupees each for the injured child.
Barrister Saif said that the cabinet decided to launch the Insaf ration card from the 1st of next month in order to provide food items at subsidized rates to the public. He also said that the school will be renamed after the martyred child’s name.
