Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur has announced a Rs. 5 million reward for Olympic gold medalist Arshad Nadeem. Speaking at an event, CM Gandapur emphasized the provincial government’s commitment to promoting sports among the youth.
“There is a need to steer our youth towards sports instead of drugs,” the chief minister stated, highlighting the importance of healthy activities. He further mentioned that the prize money for Arshad Nadeem would come from his own pocket, acknowledging the athlete as a national pride.
“We will invite Arshad Nadeem to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to train our youth in javelin throw,” CM Gandapur added, underscoring the government’s intent to nurture future sports talents in the province.
