The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa education department has banned the duties of teachers in elections and exams.
According to information, the KP education department has published a notice about teachers who are participating in a census.
They gave the respective departments the order to refrain from including instructors in any training because a sizable proportion of them are already involved in the census.
The letter also indicated that teacher postings and appointments have been halted until the outcome of the census.
Also, the department of education has written to all boards, directors, and other relevant officials.
Chief Census Commissioner inaugurates digital census
The first-ever digital population and housing census in Pakistan was launched earlier by Chief Census Commissioner Dr. Naeem uz Zafar.
On January 13, 2022, the Council of Common Interest ordered a nationwide digital census.
For the census field operation, approximately 121,000 field enumerators were deployed. According to a Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS) official, the procedure would be finished by April 1 and the data will be distributed by April 30, after which it will be approved by the Council of Common Interests (CCI).
