According to Mushtaq Ahmad Ghani, speaker of the provincial assembly, the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa province government has purchased 250 kanals of land next to the Havelian Dhamtor bypass for the development of a contemporary sports complex.
Mushtaq Ahmad, who attended the boxing fight with provincial minister Shaukat Yousafzai and other dignitaries, announced this and claimed the government had set aside Rs. 13 billion for the project in question.
Shaukat Yousafzai, who was also the event’s chief guest, spoke at the event and said that the PTI-led provincial government is willing to develop sports in the province and deal with challenges that young people confront.
A cake was cut to celebrate Pakistan’s 75th anniversary, and other attendees included Deputy Commissioner Marwat, Tariq Islam, RSO Ahmed Zaman, former DG Sports, Tariq Mahmood, and others.
Famous boxers from the Hazara division competed in the competition, which was held in several categories. After the Abbottabad zone won the competition, prizes were given out to the participants.
It is noteworthy that the newly constructed Judicial Complex and Bar Club in Tehsil Havelian, which cost Rs. 149 million, was opened by Qaisar Rasheed Khan, Chief Justice of the Peshawar High Court, last month.
