The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Government has decided to launch a free meal program for public sector primary schools. Initially, the program will start in urban areas of all divisional headquarters, providing free meals to children in primary schools.
This decision was made during a meeting chaired by Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ali Amin Khan Gandapur in Peshawar.
The initiative will begin on a pilot basis in Abbottabad and Swat, with plans to expand to other divisional headquarters in the province. The program aims to provide free, quality meals to around 70,000 children daily.
Chief Minister Gandapur emphasized that this initiative represents another significant welfare effort by the provincial government.
