Sonia Shamroz, recognized as the sole Muslim woman recipient of the International Association of Women Police Award, has once again etched her name in history.
Her latest accomplishment involves her appointment as the Assistant Inspector General of Police (AIG) Establishment in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, marking her as the first woman to hold this prestigious position.
Hailing from Abbottabad district, Sonia Shamroz has garnered extensive experience in various roles, including serving as DPO in Chitral and Battagram. Since joining the police service in 2013, she has assumed pivotal roles as ASP and DPO across different districts.
