After a desecration incident in Sweden, the Kuwaiti government decided to print 100,000 copies of the Holy Quran in Swedish.
The decision was made by the Council of Ministers in accordance with Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmed Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah’s directions to promote the tolerant nature of the real Islamic faith.
According to reports, the Public Authority for Public Care has been tasked with printing and publishing the holy book in Swedish.
These copies will be given in Sweden in collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, with the goal of disseminating Islamic ideas and values and fostering positive coexistence among all citizens.
The initiative seeks to promote love, tolerance, and peace, as well as to discourage feelings of hostility, extremism, and religious intolerance.
