From next month, the National Institute of Folk and Traditional Heritage-Lok Virsa will host a series of training courses in folk crafts and folk music.
The goal of these courses is to develop traditional skills and raise knowledge of Pakistan’s indigenous folk culture among the general public, particularly among the young.
Calligraphy, truck art, block-printing, ceramics, folk singing, and harmonium playing are among the classes available.
The courses are open to anybody of any age or gender.
This year’s classes will run till October.
