The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) announced on Sunday that the Nawabshah airport has ceased flight operations for a duration of two months.
The closure, which will last until May 23, is necessary for a geotechnical study to be conducted at the airport.
As a result, only helicopters will be permitted to land and depart from the airport during this time. It is worth noting that the CAA had previously closed the Nawabshah Airport for 15 days in September of last year due to flooding.
