Malaysian High Commissioner Mohammad Azhar Bin Mazlan has emphasized the need to boost bilateral trade between Malaysia and Pakistan to reach $12 billion. Speaking at the Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry, he highlighted that the current trade volume falls short of the potential for mutual trade growth.
Mazlan pointed out significant opportunities for development within the halal industry in both Malaysia and Pakistan. He urged the private sectors of both nations to actively engage and take concrete steps to harness these opportunities.
Furthermore, the Malaysian High Commissioner pledged full cooperation from his country to support Pakistan in becoming a regional hub for the halal industry.
