Melbourne Chancellor’s Scholarship | Key Features:
As a Chancellor’s Scholar, recipients will benefit from a living allowance and/or a living allowance, along with a guaranteed place in a professional graduate degree course. Additionally, they will receive a Melbourne Global Scholars Award to provide financial support for overseas study, enriching their educational experience.
Eligibility Criteria:
To qualify for the Melbourne Chancellor’s Scholarship for International Students, applicants must meet the following conditions:
- Australian citizen or permanent resident, or a New Zealand citizen, and completed an Australian Year 12 or the International Baccalaureate in Australia.
- Australian citizen who completed an Australian Year 12 or the International Baccalaureate outside Australia.
- Citizen of a country other than Australia who completed Australian Year 12 or IB in Australia.
- Not completed subjects as part of a tertiary course (except subjects in an extension program).
- Applied for a University of Melbourne undergraduate course via VTAC for the year following the completion of Australian Year 12 or International Baccalaureate.
- Meet the entry requirements for the nominated University of Melbourne course in your VTAC application, including achieving an ATAR of at least 99.90, or intending to undertake the Bachelor of Music with an ATAR of at least 99.85 and an audition score of A+, or be of Indigenous Australian descent with an ATAR of at least 90.
Application Procedures:
Eligible candidates who have applied for study at the University of Melbourne through VTAC will automatically be considered for the Melbourne Chancellor’s Scholarship. No separate application is required.
