Popular Middle Eastern burger chain “Salt” has announced its plans to expand into Pakistan, promising to serve high-quality food to customers in the country soon. Known for its gourmet burger offerings, Salt has already established branches in Qatar, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom, and Hungary.
Founded in Qatar in 2005 by Ali Ahmed Buhindi, Salt specializes in wagyu beef burgers, a premium beef variety originally from Japan. The chain offers an array of flavorful options, including brisket, truffle, signature, hook, and original beef sliders, as well as unique chicken options like Cheetos, pine chicken, and crispy chicken sliders.
“Time to pass the salt, Pakistan! Salt is coming in hot with all the good vibes and flavors to satisfy your cravings,” the company shared in an Instagram post with a “coming soon” teaser.
While Salt has not yet revealed which cities it will first launch in, the brand’s entry adds to the lineup of international fast-food chains that have found success in Pakistan, including McDonald’s, KFC, and Hardee’s.
