Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi convened a meeting with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur to address the security situation in the province.
They agreed to intensify intelligence-based operations to combat terrorism. Both leaders expressed condolences for the recent loss of Chinese citizens in a suicide attack in Shangla.
Naqvi emphasized the nation’s resilience against such acts of terrorism, while Gandapur affirmed the provincial government’s commitment to safeguarding lives and property.
The attack occurred as a suicide bomber targeted a convoy traveling from Islamabad to Dasu Dam in Kohistan, resulting in casualties.
