The Motorway police have started utilizing satellite monitoring of passengers’ buses across the country to help control over speeding.
Sector Commander Motorway stated that over 6500 passenger buses were being monitored with trackers. The motorway police were tracking intercity and interprovincial buses.
The Sector Commander stated that the police met with the transporters of the passengers’ buses that have trackers installed. He went on to say that access to the tracker system has been enabled in the Sector office.
Sector Commander Motorway stated that the police check the speed of passenger buses with a tracker system. He noted that over 100 vehicles were fined across the country.
