Pakistan’s Muhammad Saqib has brought honor to the nation by securing a gold medal at the World Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) Championship held in Jakarta, Indonesia. Organized under the Global Association of Mixed Martial Arts, the event featured fierce competition from athletes representing 63 countries.
Saqib shone in the under-18, 52.2 kg category, where he defeated a formidable Kazakh opponent in a thrilling three-round bout. His resilience and exceptional skills were on full display, particularly in the latter two rounds, where he dominated the contest.
Adding to Pakistan’s achievements, Mahmood Kamal claimed two bronze medals in the minus 93 kg and 93 kg categories, further solidifying the country’s strong presence in the championship.
