The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has cleared former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif in the investigation regarding the Toshakhana reference, as reported by ARY News.
According to details, the accountability bureau has submitted a report on the Toshakhana reference to the Accountability Court (AC).
The NAB investigation report indicates that Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N) leader Nawaz Sharif did not use a fake account to make payments for the vehicle acquired from Toshakhana.
Furthermore, the report informs the court that the vehicle was surrendered to Toshakhana in 1997 and was not under Toshakhana’s ownership when Nawaz purchased it in 2008.
Additionally, the accountability court has the authority to exonerate former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif in the Toshakhana reference, as stated in the bureau’s report.
