Nadra has launched a home-based automobile registration service at your doorstep. The action has been done to make life easier for citizens and remove the requirement for them to attend the excise office. A representative of Nadra named Khurram Javed told the reporters that the team would register the car and issue the license plate.
Khurrum claims that as of right present, about 2,500 applicants had registered their vehicles using this new facility. “The citizens will have to call the numbers of our call center, our agent books your appointment with details, and within two to three days, we visit them. We have 10 to 15 minutes to complete the registration”.
He added that regardless of whether the car is new or used, the Nadra call center representative gathers all relevant data. The applicant is then told to gather specific documents and make regular payments.
Khurrum asserts that in addition to taxes and tokens, the service costs an additional Rs 995. Khurrum claims that the service is currently limited to Islamabad.
